  • Immerse yourself in clinical or field experiences beginning your sophomore year and student teaching during your senior year. This practical, hands-on experience will be crucial as you step into your role as role mentor and teacher.
  • Pursue a minor in biology, chemistry, or Spanish to enhance your academic journey and leverage your expertise with future students. 
  • Connect with others who share your passion with mathematics by joining Pi Mu Epsilon, National Mathematics Honor Society.
  • Expand your horizons and immerse yourself in other cultures and languages by studying abroad in places such as Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.
  • Participate in the ISTEP-Noyce project at Saint Mary’s to make a difference by becoming a STEM teacher.
