WINONA, Minn. — The public is invited to attend a Free Family Concert at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, at the Maplewood Townhomes Winona Family Community Center, 1756 Kraemer Dr.
The short performance will feature a number of instrumental ensembles and Winona community musicians, including Saint Mary’s students and high school students from the region who play in the Saint Mary’s Concert Band. Children will have a chance to join in with small percussion instruments.
This concert is the first of three in the Free Family Concert Series to be presented in the coming months. It’s sponsored in part by the Elizabeth Calendar King Foundation and the Saint Mary’s University Music Department. For more information, contact Dr. Janet Heukeshoven at jheukesh@smumn.edu.
