Thanksgiving — Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024
Day after Thanksgiving — Friday, Nov. 29, 2024
Christmas Eve Day — Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024
Christmas Day — Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024
Day after Christmas — Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024
Courtesy Day — Friday, Dec. 27, 2024
Courtesy Day — Monday, Dec. 30, 2024
New Year’s Eve Day — Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024
New Year’s Day — Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025
Please note that certain employees may be required to work on holidays to provide essential services to students because of necessity and at the supervisor’s request. Courtesy days, while not official holidays, offer flexibility. They do not apply to the holiday guidelines described within the employee handbook and are not guaranteed. However, they are granted at the administration’s discretion. Some employees may need to be at work during these days to support year-end requirements in their work areas. In these circumstances, the vice presidents responsible for these areas may provide these particular employees the option to use these courtesy days at a later date and no later than Jan. 31, 2025.
