Elementary Education Majors
Be inspired to teach and engage young minds.
Are you ready to inspire and support young learners on an individual basis? This program focuses on equipping you with the skills to teach and lead a diverse range of students effectively. The program is endorsed by the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), ensuring graduates meet licensure requirements. You’ll also learn how to work harmoniously with parents, colleagues, administrators, and community members, fostering a well-rounded approach to education.
Additionally, we offer five specializations (endorsements) so you may customize your degree and teach subject area classes at the middle school level: communication arts and literature (5-8); general science (5-8); mathematics (5-8); social studies (5-8); and world languages and culture and Spanish (K-8).
