Criminal Justice Majors
Create a safer, more just world while building your future.
Are you ready to make the world a better and safer place? In our criminal justice program, we offer two tracks you can choose from to achieve your goals: corrections or law enforcement. In both tracks, you’ll learn about the relationship between social and cultural institutions and the criminal justice system.
The goal of this program is to help you learn awareness, respect, adaptability, and inclusion for sociocultural diversity. You’ll also learn how various parts of the criminal justice system influence each other and how to empower others through the management principles of leadership.
Students in this program benefit from faculty with practical, real-world experience. Additionally, the law enforcement program holds certification from the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards (POST), ensuring high-quality training. The curriculum also emphasizes preparedness for unforeseen situations through a diverse range of approaches.
