Business Administration Degree Completion Programs

A business degree can open a wide range of career possibilities. Even if you attended college years ago, it’s never too late to finish your degree. Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota offers multiple degree completion programs in business administration and related fields:

Each of these programs is offered entirely online, so you don’t need to take time away from work to travel to campus for classes. For those who prefer in-person instruction, the Business Administration and Human Resource Management degrees offer an on-campus option. Plus, with flexible scheduling, you can choose to attend school full-time or part-time, making it easier to balance your other responsibilities.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to an online bachelor’s degree completion program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, you must have:

  • At least 30 transferable semester credits, including one basic course in English composition with a C- or higher
  • An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale
  • Demonstration of English language proficiency (for students who attended college outside the United States)

How to Apply

We make it easy to apply for admission to Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Simply complete and submit an application, then request official transcripts from each college or university you’ve attended in the past. Transcripts should be sent to:

Applicants also may be required to complete an interview with the university before being accepted. Admitted students will receive an evaluation of their previous college coursework and the number of transfer credits accepted toward their degree. For those who attended community college in Minnesota, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota has transfer agreements in place with several local institutions to streamline the admissions process. Start dates vary by program, but once you apply, you will be notified regarding your acceptance within about two weeks.

Please note: A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to confirm matriculation as a degree completion student. This deposit will be credited to the student’s account.

Financing Your Education

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is dedicated to making higher education affordable for all students. With our generous transfer credit policy, you can apply previously earned credits toward your bachelor’s degree. We accept credits earned through the following:

  • Accredited institutions of higher education
  • American Council on Education (ACE)
  • College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
  • Dantes Subject Standardized Tests (DSST)
  • International credits evaluated by a source accepted by the university

With transferred credits, some students can finish their bachelor’s degree in as little as one year. Plus, there’s no cost to apply for bachelor’s completion programs.

Financial aid is available to students who qualify. Students who are interested in financial aid and scholarships are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.
